Artists in Residence 2026-27: Tossie Long, Aaron Garrette, and Faapito Sagote Jr.

The Shipyard Trust’s Artists-in-Residence Program supports exceptional artists from the Bayview Hunters Point community with an 18-month residency, providing free studio space and access to opportunities that advance their artistic careers. These artists enrich the creative community at the Hunters Point Shipyard and strengthen connections with the surrounding Bayview Hunters Point community.

STAR congratulates Tossie Long, Aaron Garrette, and Faapito Sagote Jr. on their selection and welcomes them to the Hunters Point Shipyard Artist community!
