Below is STAR's Teaching Artist Registry form for Hunters Point Shipyard and Islais Creek Studios artists. Fill it out and submit it to enter your information into our teaching artist registry. We'll let you know whenever there's an opportunity that matches your preferences and qualifications. You can update or withdraw your information anytime.
STAR's mission and goals for the next few years involve increased outreach to the Bayview Hunters Point community by providing arts education opportunities.
We plan to offer after-school art classes at neighborhood schools and daytime classes at a senior center, also in the Bayview. We need artists who are interested in teaching to make this happen for the community!
STAR also expects to work with other organizations who want to offer art classes and workshops.
This Registry is the first step in the process. We need to know who is interested, able, and available to teach - and what you teach. If you're interested, please let us know about yourself.
We are excited about bringing more art to the Bayview and to San Francisco in the coming year.
