CRANE

Is a project of Shipyard Trust for the Arts that started in our 40th anniversary year 2024. We collected community stories connected to the Shipyard History, and illuminated the big gantry crane with that history in light and sound.

We are continuing our story collection and raising of awareness of the intertwined nature of the history of the Shipyard with the history of the Bayview Hunters Point community and in fact all of San Francisco.
