Size: 2.18" (H) x2.247" (W) @300dpi or higher resolution. (or 161.8 (H) x 157 (W) points (not pixels) @300dpi or higher) Larger images approximately square or that can be cropped are acceptable if you are unable to edit your image to the correct size.

AUCTION IMAGE UPLOADS NEEDED FROM ALL ARTISTS by APRIL 4, 2025

TIMELINE:

  1. February 21: Early Bird deadline for catalog ads

  2. March 1: Deadline to sign up and have entry in Open Studios catalog

  3. April 4: Regular Registration Deadline (online listing only, donate to auction) ($50 extra fee due after that date)

  4. April 4: Deadline to submit electronic mage of auction donation

  5. April 2 - 5: Auction Art dropoff times in Gallery (if you have no picture, please drop off as early as possible)
    Art must be ready to hang with wires or hooks.

    3. Saturday, April 5, 1PM - 5PM

  6. April 10: AUCTION Reception in Gallery 6-8PM

  7. Thursday, April 10: Auction live online 12 noon and public gallery reception 6-8PM (artists arrive 5:45PM)
    We need as many artists present as possible for photo shoot and mingling with visitors.

  8. April 25: Late Sign-up Deadline (Online Listing, No Catalog, No Auction)

  9. April 27: Final Sign-up Deadline (Open Door Only)

    Note: Artists without Shipyard studios: To participate in Open Studios you should first arrange with a Shipyard or Islais Creek artist to share or sublet their studio during Open Studios weekend. Once you register you may have a guest artist page on shipyardartists.com through about one week after Open Studios is over.

You don’t have to do everything on this list, but pick a few things that work best for you.

DO NOT CREATE A PRIVATE FACEBOOK EVENT, BUT JOIN THE COMMON ONE

1. Go to the Facebook event page XXXX and say that you are "going."

2. "Invite" your Facebook friends who may be interested in this event.

3. "Share" the event to your own Facebook page.

4. Post about your work in the "Discussion" section of the event.

5. Post on your own Facebook page and tag Hunters Point Shipyard Artists and Shipyard Open Studios.

Instagram: Post the event graphic and your own work. Include hash tags #shipyardartists, #shipyardopenstudios, #sfopenstudios, #hunterspointshipyardartists and tag @hunterspointshipyardartists
